Healthy Lunches Twitter Party

Think you are a pro at creating quick, easy lunches that your kid will actually eat and not trade away? Did you know that a PB&J sandwich can actually be very unhealthy? Simple choices such as choosing the right bread and peanut butter can have an immense impact on your child’s health. That is why we are hosting a Healthy Lunches Twitter Party on 9/15 at 5pm PST!

Join TLC’s Parentables (@Parentables) and GoodGuide Dietitian Sheila Viswanathan (@LazyDietitian) for an hour-long chat about ways to prepare the healthiest lunches for your kids. If you haven’t attended a Twitter party before, all you need is a Twitter account. Share advice with our experts and fellow tweeters, just follow the hashtag #GGMoms to join! You can also use a chat room tool such as TweetGrid or TweetChat to keep track of the fun.

An added bonus: five lucky participants will win lunch kits from Reuseit.  Start the school year off the eco-friendly way with these reusable lunch bags that are BPA, phthalate and lead free.  To win, all you need to do is join the chat party using the #GGMoms hashtag.

Twitter Party Rules: Beginning 9/15/11 at 5:00 p.m. PT and ending 9/15/11 at 6:00 p.m. PT, participants must use the hashtag #GGMoms in order to qualify to win prize.  @GoodGuide will choose winners at random using Twitter search by refreshing the search page towards the end of the party.  The most recent two tweets using the hashtag #GGMoms will be the winner (NOTE: winner must be participating in chat and not just retweeting).  All decisions are final.  Neither the party sponsor @GoodGuide @LazyDietitian or @Parentables is responsible for misdirected or undeliverable Twitter updates, including those from private Twitter accounts.
